Louie Bellson Died on February 14th 2009. He was the first drummer to pioneer the use of two bass drums. So if it were not for Mr. Bellson, I'm sure I would not be playing double bass today. I am sorry to say I was too busy working the past 2 months to update my page in order to pay tribute to a true legend in the world of drumming. Playing with giant sticks!
Here I am playing with the big sticks at Herr Folgelman's “Ludwigsburg Trommel Tage”….for you non German speaking people that would be Mr. Fogleman's “Ludwigsburg Drum Day”. A very fine event….and Mr Fogelman is a strange & funny character indeed…..He wanted to test my muscles…..hehe….Well….I think passed the TEST and so did the Meinl Cymbals and Ddrums!
